But don’t worry because with our careful team, nobody will ever need to claim through our insurance policy.
Deposits are required to book every move. It’s nothing personal, but we need to make sure we’re keeping our team paid and in demand. Every move requires a non-refundable $300 deposit. When you fill out our booking form, this is a quote request. We’ll get back to you with a full confirmation as soon as we can.
We get it. Packing and unpacking sucks, but things go much faster if you just do it yourself. Pack everything up before we arrive so that we don’t have to awkwardly watch over your shoulder as you throw those dirty dishes into a box. Make sure any sensitive valuables are flagged ahead of time so they can go in the cab with us.
We’re not an office supply company, but we work with a great partner called Gorilla Bins. Get in touch with them for some great deals on moving materials. Since we use one sprinter for managing most moves, we prefer small and medium-sized boxes. They’re easier to pack/unpack, easier to move, and easier to stack in our truck.
While we can manage larger boxes, we’d prefer it if you tell us about these ahead of time. That’s especially the case if you’re going to be moving some wardrobe boxes. We do not provide mattress covers. Moving is a hot, dirty business, and we can’t guarantee that your mattress won’t get dirty if you want it thrown in the van as is. It’s easy to buy mattress covers these days from online retailers like Amazon. They’re relatively cheap, and that sweet one-day delivery can be a lifesaver if you haven’t prepared your move in advance.
In most cases, we will not wrap couches. In some rare cases, we might be able to wrap your couch but can’t guarantee it. It’s not that we’re allergic to plastic; it’s that we don’t offer this service. You’re free to wrap your own couch before you arrive. We provide blankets for any furniture, including artwork, TVs, and mirrors. If you really need to wrap your couch and need us to do it, email us well ahead of time, and we’ll see what we can do. We’re always willing to go the extra mile for our customers.
